Aurora Spas

These Terms of Service govern the supply of goods and services by Aurora Spas. By booking a service, purchasing a product, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

These terms are written in accordance with UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and related consumer protection legislation.

1. About Us

Aurora Spas provides hot tub sales, servicing, repairs, relocation, installation, hire, and related accessories and products.

References to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean Aurora Spas. References to “you” or “the customer” mean the individual or business purchasing goods or services from us.

2. Services

2.1 Bookings

  • All service bookings are subject to availability.

  • Appointment dates and times are estimates and may change due to weather, access issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • You are responsible for ensuring safe, clear, and reasonable access to the hot tub and work area.

2.2 Call-Out & Labour Fees

  • Call-out fees and diagnostic charges apply and are payable whether or not work is completed.

  • Labour is charged based on time spent and complexity of the work.

2.3 Customer Responsibilities

You must ensure:

  • The site is suitable and safe for the service requested

  • Electrical and water supplies meet manufacturer and legal requirements

  • Pets, children, and obstacles are kept clear during works

Aurora Spas is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by unsafe or unsuitable conditions.

3. Hot Tub Sales

3.1 Orders

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

  • Deposits may be required and are non-refundable once an order is confirmed, unless stated otherwise.

3.2 Delivery

  • Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • You are responsible for ensuring adequate access for delivery vehicles and equipment.

  • Failed deliveries due to access issues may incur additional charges.

4. Installation

  • Installation is limited to positioning, levelling, and basic connection unless otherwise agreed.

  • Electrical connections must be completed by a qualified electrician unless explicitly included.

  • Once installed and filled, a hot tub is considered used.

Aurora Spas is not liable for damage caused by poor site preparation, unsuitable bases, or third-party electrical work.

5. Repairs & Servicing

  • Repairs are carried out based on visible and reported faults.

  • We cannot guarantee the availability of replacement parts, particularly for older or discontinued models.

  • Temporary or partial fixes may be required where parts are unavailable.

6. Relocation Services

  • Relocations are carried out with due care but involve inherent risk.

  • Aurora Spas is not responsible for pre-existing damage.

  • Structural damage caused by hidden defects, weak bases, or inadequate access is excluded from liability.

7. Hire Services

Where hot tub hire is provided, separate hire terms may apply. Customers are responsible for:

  • Safe use and supervision

  • Damage beyond fair wear and tear

  • Compliance with usage instructions provided

8. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

  • Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking or purchase.

  • Late or non-payment may result in service refusal or recovery action.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Warranty & Faults

  • Manufacturer warranties apply where provided.

  • Aurora Spas does not provide additional warranties unless expressly stated.

  • Faults caused by misuse, poor maintenance, freezing, chemical imbalance, or incorrect installation are excluded.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aurora Spas shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Loss of enjoyment, income, or business

  • Damage caused by third parties or customer negligence

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods or services supplied.

12. Website Use

  • Website content is provided for general information only.

  • We reserve the right to update, suspend, or withdraw content without notice.

  • Unauthorised use of content may give rise to a claim for damages.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

Aurora Spas reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
